The Sonic Ark is a brand new, built from scratch, Music, Audio and Video production and post production facility based in Thessaloniki , the second biggest city in Greece and a major crossroad point for the Balkans.

However The Sonic Ark is not a complete "newbie".... it is the natural evolution of Run Devil Run Records & Studio.

The Run Devil Run recording studio first opened it's doors in 1994 in Thessaloniki under the name "Studio Q". For more than a decade it has been a true alternative and by all means underground recording and music creating space where hundreds of local bands and artists recorded their albums, demos etc. In 2007 we decided that it was time for a bigger space so we begun designing (and later on building) the new Run Devil Run studio (Studio A) and at the same time re-build the existing one (Studio B) in the existing location. What at the moment seemed like an upgrade became a brand new facility, designed from scratch in order to be a true audio and video production complex including two separated but still fully compatible recording and mixing studios, a mastering and post production suite, a surround sound mixing suite, a video production sub facility, a record label, lounge spaces and of course the history, vibe and ethics of 20 years of history in the music industry.
